Water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink?

Hydration is possibly the most important thing you can do for you body. Keeping hydrated is vital to keeping the rest of you from withering and drying up. Every cell of every tissue of every organ of every organ system needs proper hydration for, well proper function. And proper function is what we are all achieving. Think too of a plant that needs water. That is essentially what is happening to us on a much slower and larger scale. For plump, beautiful cells which will show up as plump beautiful and elastic, healthy skin be sure to hydrate! Basic rule of thumb (if you haven’t already heard this 1000x before, it can NEVER be too many time though) 0.5oz. X body weight in lbs. Well, at least 8 glasses of water each day, right? But this also depends on the amount of exercise you do and calories you consume. So, that can be a lot of water HOWEVER all fruits and vegetables are composed of this precious liquid so if you are eating primarily these beauties then you may not need to drink so dang much.
What I like to do is examine output. If your output (urine) looks and smells foul and strong (dark) you may just want to increase your intake until your urine is very light yellow with no odor. If your urine is completely clear well then you may be drinking too much and don’t want to overload your poor kidneys.
In conclusion pay attention to your output, eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies (organic IF possible but don’t go too crazy over that), and look at your skin as well. Is is very dry and flaky? Remember think of the plant; you can tell by looking at the plant if it needs to be watered. So you can tell by looking at you too. Hydration is very important after all your body is made up of like 60% water so it must be important to replenish!
